Learning to Love Yourself in a Pandemic
The times they are a changin’ indeed my friends. How are all of these shifts settling with you? What is coming up for you? For those of you who began your awakened journey shortly before the pandemic began, I want you to hang in there. With all four paws if you have to. These times are coming fast and furious and the seismic shifts are doubling down on us right now. Right now we are seated in fire. Let. it. Burn. Let the dying leaves drop from your tree and yes, the leaves are often people. Trust this process and if you really start to get rattled and turned upside down - get yourself outside and into nature and take several deep breaths there. So many answers can be found in how it all works in the natural world. So many aha moments of resilience, rebirth and resurgence. Lean in and listen. You won’t be disappointed.
Remember that the awakening journey begins with an invitation to connect with Self in a way you haven’t before. Connecting with Self leads you down endless paths and each one is truly one step at a time. This is not a race to the finish, it is 100% about the journey so give yourself permission to slow down and stay in the present moment as much as you can. Remind yourself that fear lives and thrives in the future - the unknown. Fear also loves to make up stories time and time again, to keep you small, closed and down. Lean into where fear is present and give yourself permission to tell fear it’s only welcome when your life is in imminent danger.
Remember if nothing else comes out of this, we gave Mother Earth an opportunity for a big deep breath. I pray that we collectively get to a place where we can agree to give her more of those- on a global scale. I ask that the shifts when they begin to settle, leave cracks big enough for high frequency vibrations and light to stream through to the entire world collective and we all level up enough to see the truth about our relationships with ourselves, each other, the world around us and the planet we live on.
